Yasmin Orandi, MD, specializes in caring for the whole family and focusing on improving the overall quality of health at the Apple Valley Medical Center in Apple Valley, Minnesota. She is board certified in family medicine and truly cares about people who come in to see her by building trust and strong relationships with them. Dr. Orandi is skilled at treating a number of conditions ranging from acne to respiratory infections. She also provides hearing evaluations, chronic care management, and wellness care. Dr. Orandi completed her undergraduate degree at Macalester College in St. Paul, Minnesota. She then attended Rush University Medical College in Chicago. From Chicago, Dr. Orandi traveled to North Carolina to attend the family medicine residency program at Duke University, where she served as chief resident. She is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians and Minnesota Academy of Family Physicians. Dr. Orandi has been recognized by both her patients and peers for her outstanding care and was voted Best Physician on the Mainline by Suburban Times Newspaper and won the William “Terry” Kane, MD, Award for Excellence in Clinical Family Medicine. When she’s not taking care of her patients, Dr. Orandi is spending time with her family, and volunteering at the school and in the community. She enjoys cooking, golfing, and reading and participates in the annual Ski Challenge recreational ski races.
