Bio
Dr. Yanelis Martin completed her fellowship in Endocrine, Diabetes and Metabolism at the University of Miami following her residency program of combined Internal Medicine and Pediatrics at the same institution. She served as Chief Resident during her training and was actively involved in volunteer missions to the Caribbean islands promoting preventative health. She is currently Volunteer Faculty at the University of Miami - Miller School of Medicine.

Endocrinology

Dr. Martin can diagnose and create treatment plans for conditions like growth disorders, obesity, low testosterone, osteoporosis and various thyroid disorders, among others. Specializing in the treatment of diabetes, Dr. Martin cares for patients suffering from all types and stages of the disease such as types I and II, or gestational diabetes. Diabetologists work closely with diabetic patients to formulate a personalized, comprehensive plan that includes a diabetes-friendly diet and exercise regimen, in addition to any prescription medications or treatment procedures that are deemed necessary.
