W. Kevin Cox, MD Board-Certified Orthopaedic Surgeon. Dr. Cox joined West Orange Orthopaedics in 1992. He received his Bachelor of Arts Degree from Rollins College. He then attended the University of Tennessee where he received his Doctor of Medicine degree. He completed his Internship and Orthopaedic Residency from Orlando Regional Medical Center, Orlando, FL. Dr. Cox is board certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery. His areas of specialized experience include General Orthopaedic Surgery, Sports Related Injuries, Trauma, Joint Replacements, and Mako Robotic Surgery. Dr. Cox is the Founder of Health Central Medical Sciences Program for future physicians and former Chief of Staff at Health Central Hospital. He has participated in multiple medical mission trips to Ethiopia. He has been actively participating in alternative means of providing healthcare in Central Florida with Shepherd's Hope and the West Orange Healthcare Alliance. He is currently a team physician for Foundation Academy and is married with four children.
As an orthopedic surgeon in Florida, Dr. Cox is qualified to identify and treat trauma to your musculoskeletal system, including the joints, muscles, bones, tendons, and ligaments.
