Vida Robertson, MD, joined Carolina Partners in 2014 . She earned her MD at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and completed the General Psychiatry Residency Program at LSU/Ochsner where she was a nominee for Intern of the year and co-founder of a DBT Support Group. She was also Chief Fellow in the Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Fellowship program at the University of New Mexico School of Medicine. Dr. Robertson previously worked as a psychiatrist at a private practice in Fairhope, AL before moving back to North Carolina. She is board certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. Dr. Robertson treats age 5 to 65 in our Raleigh, NC office, where she specializes in developmental disabilities, eating disorders, and Schizophrenia.
Dr. Vida Robertson is a psychiatrist, a primary care doctor for the mind. She provides care the psychological well-being of men and women, with an ability to diagnose and help manage all of the different types of mental illness. These might include things like depressive disorders, eating disorders, bipolar disorder or anxiety disorders, for example. Dr. Robertson may provide treatments covering anything from medication management plans to unique forms of therapy.
