I had a mitral valve replacement surgery done by Dr.Ivey in 2008 and somehow had a stroke either during the surgery or right after (It was never really explained to me what it how it happened) and I ended up with foot drop and my life was forever changed. I felt like he didn't care about what happened,he sent me off to rehab and I had a follow-up appt to see him but he couldn't even take the time to see me to let me what was going on or just to be a decent human being and say I'm sorry that this happened to you,no,instead I was seen by his associate who really didn't give any answers either, this was the worst time of my life and felt that I was pushed aside and forgotten

Their focus is usually on the lungs, esophagus, and other areas of the chest, and may also include the heart. As such, Dr. Ivey may see patients in Ohio for a wide range of surgeries, for example removing cancer causing tumors from the esophagus and chest wall, or even a lung transplant.
