I am a fellowship-trained, board-certified ophthalmologist who specializes in ophthalmic plastic, reconstructive and orbital surgery (also known as oculoplastic surgery or oculoplastics). This specialty includes surgical and medical management of eyelid, lacrimal (tear duct), and orbital disorders. I am a clinician educator and Assistant Professor of Ophthalmology at the Eye Institute, Medical College of Wisconsin and Froedtert Hospital. I was formerly the chief teaching resident at Indiana University in 2003. I completed a two-year ASOPRS fellowship in Orbital and Oculoplastic Surgery at the Medical College of Wisconsin in 2005. I have served as attending surgeon since 2005 at Froedtert Hospital, Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin and Zablocki VA Medical Center. In 2007, I was awarded the Residents’ Award for Teaching Excellence in Ophthalmology. As a member of the American Society of Ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery (ASOPRS), I currently serve on the Education Committee and participate in oral board examination for specialists in oculofacial surgery. I strive to provide excellent care.
