Dr. Hron joined ENT Specialists in 2015. She is a board-certified Otolaryngologist-Head and Neck Surgeon and fellowship-trained Laryngologist. She received her medical degree from Boston University School of Medicine. She completed her residency in Otolaryngology, Head and Neck Surgery at the University of Connecticut Health Center and a fellowship in laryngeal surgery at Massachusetts General Hospital with Dr. Steven M. Zeitels. Dr. Hron’s special interests include treating patients with hoarseness, professional and occupational voice issues (e.g. teachers, lawyers, singers, actors, telemarketers, and sales people), vocal cord paralysis, laryngeal cancers, recurrent respiratory papillomatosis (RRP), and laryngeal stenosis.
Dr. Hron actively contributes to the Otolaryngology literature in the form of peer reviewed journals and book chapters. In addition, she has presented her research at numerous meetings on a national level. She has also helped to develop laryngeal simulators that assist other otolaryngology physicians in their learning of procedures involving the voice box and laryngeal airway.
Dr. Hron is board certified by the American Board of Otolaryngology. She is also certified in the use of lasers for medical procedures by the Laser Institute of America.

Dr. Hron may treat a variety of disorders that affect upper-airway breathing, speech, swallowing, and balance and hearing, among other functions.
