Dr. Moore is a native of Houston where he graduated from Westchester High School. He earned his Bachelor’s degree from Austin College in Sherman, Texas. He then received his medical education in Galveston at The University of Texas Medical Branch. Dr. Moore returned to Houston for internship and residency training in General Surgery at the St. Josephs Hospital program. He earned his Board Certification from the American Board of Surgery in 1998 and was re-certified in 2008. He is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons. He has particular interest in gallbladder and hernia surgery. Dr. Moore is a member of the medical staff of Methodist and St. Luke’s in Sugar Land as well as Memorial-Hermann in both Sugar Land and Katy. Dr. Moore’s avocations include photography, ceramics, and playing squash.
