Dr. Thomas P. McDonough, MD is a board certified orthopedic surgeon specializing in general orthopedics, trauma, fractures, pediatric injuries, arthroscopic surgery and sports medicine at Denver-Vail Orthopedics, P.C. in Denver, Colorado and Parker, Colorado.

Dr. McDonough graduated from Georgetown University School of Medicine in 1982 where he was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society. He completed his residency in Orthopedic Surgery at the University of California, Irvine Medical Center in 1990. Two years later he became Board Certified in Orthopedic Surgery and was recently recertified in 2013.

Before entering into private practice, Dr. McDonough served in the United States Air Force for a total of 10 years. He first served as Chief of Flight Medicine stationed at England Air Force Base in Louisiana and later as Chief of Orthopedic Surgery at Mather Air Force Base in California. In 1991, Dr. McDonough was deployed in support of Operation Desert Storm.

Dr. Thomas P. McDonough has been a practicing orthopedic surgeon in the Parker and Aurora community since 1992. He joined Denver-Vail Orthopedics in 2014 and is affiliated with Parker Adventist Hospital and Crown Point Surgical Center; both are a part of the Centura Health Network. He is also affiliated with Sky Ridge Medical Center which is part of the Health One Network. He has served on the Parker Adventist Hospital Medical Executive Committee as well as Chairman of Crown Point Surgical Center. He maintains an office in Parker, Colorado and is on staff at Parker Adventist Hospital, Sky Ridge Medical Center and Crown Point Surgical Center.
