Dr. Susan Kaweski is a Plastic and Reconstructive surgeon and she has been serving La Mesa, CA since 1983. She\'s a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, California Society of Plastic Surgeons, International Society of Plastic Surgeons, San Diego Plastic Surgery Society,American Cleft Palate Association, American Medical Association, California Medical Association, San Diego County Medical Society, Association of Military Surgeons of the United States, American Association of Women Surgeons, American Medical Womens Association, San Diego Surgical Society, American Society of Microbiologists. She\'s the Past President of the San Diego Medical Society in 2010 and 2011. She has received a letter of Commendation for Supervising Naval Physical Fitness Program as well as a letter of Appreciation for Serving as Head of the Medical Department of the USS McKee and was awarded First Place, a Research Award at the American College of Surgeons. She was nominated for the John P. McGovern Com pleat Physician Award. She also received the Meritorious Service Medal and was selected as one of 50 People to watch in 1999, San Diego Magazine. She is the International Whos Who Honored Member in 2000, Woman of the Year by American Biographical Institute in 2000, Honoree for Notable American Woman in 2002, Maliniac Fellow of the Plastic Surgery Foundation and Healthcare Hero Award for Grossmont Healthcare District in the in 2013.
