Dr. Sunil Jain is a Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation specialist (known as a "Physiatrist") practicing in the Phoenix area. He is Board Certified in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation, as well as the subspecialty of Pain Medicine. In addition to residency training in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation, Dr. Jain has undergone postgraduate training in Fluoroscopic Guided Spinal Injections, Integrative Medicine and Medical Acupuncture.

To provide patients with the highest quality of life and restore functional ability, Dr. Sunil Jain utilizes an integrative approach focused on treating the person as a whole, as opposed to treating individual symptoms. Dr. Jain has lived in diverse locales, from New Delhi, India to Lawrenceburg, Tennessee to Boston, Massachusetts and Los Angeles, California. His time spent in all of these cities taught him how to relate to people from all walks of life, allowing him to bring this empathy into his medical practice.

Having settled in Phoenix, Arizona, Dr. Jain enjoys using his speaking engagements to educate hospitals & practitioners in the community about the benefits of Integrative Medicine. He hopes this work will lead to a better blend of patient care and patient relations in hospital settings.

His position as the President of Medical Staff and Program Director in Integrative Medicine for the Scottsdale Healthcare Rehabilitation Hospital in Scottsdale, Arizona, allows him to initiate medical programs that he hopes will continue to promote the benefits of holistic care hospital-wide. Additionally, Dr. Jain serves as Medical Director of the Acute Rehabilitation Hospital at St. Luke’s Medical Center in Phoenix. Since 2011, he has served as an external consultant to the Arizona Medical Board. In addition to his hospital posts, Dr. Jain has a private outpatient practice, where he blends the best of traditional and homeopathic treatments designed to offer the highest quality of patient care.

Dr. Jain is a lifetime member of the American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, as well as the American Association of Physicians of Indian Origin. He has also been recognized by Phoenix Magazine as a “Top Doctor” in Physiatry.
