About Dr. Harlin

Bio

Are you looking for a physician that can interpret your DNA and microbiome results, counsel you on your genetic health risks, and offer you a genotype-specific preventive health plan?

The Harlin Center for Precision Medicine, in Lakewood Ranch, Florida, offers patients clinical genomics-based care and preventive interventions— the highest standard for personalized medical care — in the areas of Alzheimer’s disease, cardiovascular disease, diabetes, macular degeneration, and many cancers.

Our programs are built upon a genomic analysis for disease-related risk, an analysis of the microbiome for gut health, and a comprehensive clinical evaluation.

The Center's proprietary bioinformatics software cross-references over 6,000 large scale genome-wide association studies (GWAS) and detects biologically relevant associations in approximately 4000 susceptibility genes.

Dr. Harlin is a certified instructor of the Benson-Henry Mind-Life Institute’s Stress Management and Resiliency Training (SMART) course.  Patients are encouraged to participate in an 8-session SMART program as well as monthly educational support group get togethers.

Over the past 10 years, there has been an explosion in both genomics research and in the understanding of what causes many of the diseases associated with aging. It is truly privileged to live at this time… a time when science is taking the practice of medicine into a new era. Our programs embody the highest medical standards and derive from the strongest evidence in current medical research.

We welcome the opportunity to collaborate and care for you on your journey toward optimal health.
