Dr. Griffin completed his OB/GYN residency at Texas Tech after graduating medical school at the University of Nebraska. Dr. Griffin and his wife, a pediatrician with Texas Tech, are excited to raise a family in Amarillo. Dr. Griffin provides pregnancy care as well as women's health care and surgical treatment throughout all phases of a woman's life. Dr. Griffin was awarded clinical teaching awards in 2009, 2010, and 2012.  He completed the Felix Rutledge Junior Fellowship in Gynecologic Oncology at M.D. Anderson Cancer Center.  Dr. Griffin was also named the "Special Resident in Minimally Invasive Gynecology" by the American Association of Gynecologic Laparoscopists.  Dr. Griffin served as this area's Junior Fellow Chair for the American College of OB/GYN.

Obstetric Care:  Feel confident in the health and safety of your child. Our doctors monitor for any possible complications and health risks during your pregnancy and perform surgery if needed. I offer the best preconception, prenatal, and postnatal care for both mother and child.

I provide traditional and laparoscopic (minimally invasive) surgeries, including hysterectomy and endometrial ablation.  I treat bleeding problems, pelvic pain, bladder incontinence and many more.  We also provide non-surgical treatments for gynecological problems.

Women's reproductive health needs vary as they age. To meet these needs, we have different surgical and non-surgical treatments including infertility treatment, primary care, and hormone replacement.  We also provide menopausal treatments, yearly exams, pap smears, and contraception for women.  We also provide 4D ultrasound in the office.
