Dr. Putnam, a native of Charlotte, graduated from Furman University with degrees in music and biology and then attended medical school at the Brody School of Medicine at East Carolina University in Greenville, N.C. She completed her residency training in Internal Medicine and Pediatrics at Greenville Hospital System University Medical Center. She is board eligible in Internal Medicine and Pediatrics. Her medical interests include care for children and adults with special healthcare needs, palliative care and medical education for students and residents. Dr. Putnam regularly participates in activities of the Greenville County Medical Society and holds leadership positions in the South Carolina Medical Association. She enjoys playing violin and piano, being active in her church and exploring the mountains of the Carolinas and Tennessee.
