Dr. Shirley Thomas graduated with a BA in Chemistry and Biology in 1976 from the University of Indianapolis. She earned her medical degree in 1980 from the Indiana University School of Medicine, and completed her residency at Indiana University’s Health Methodist Hospital in 1984. She became Board Certified in obstetrics and gynecology in 1986. Her professional and medical associations include the American Medical Association (AMA), the American Congress of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ACOG), and the Indianapolis Medical Society. Dr. Thomas takes her community involvement seriously. Since 1992, she has been on the Board of Adoption Services and on the landscaping committee of the Pine Lake Home Owners Association. A licensed pilot and an avid scuba diver, Dr. Thomas is a member of both the Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association (AOPA) and the Divers Alert Network (DAN), respectively. In her leisure time, Dr. Thomas loves to fly, scuba dive, garden, cook and spend time with her two dogs. Dr. Thomas is accepting patients at our Fishers and North Meridian location.
