Bio
Dr. Sharon Lee Hong, FAAP, is a board certified pediatric physician who began practicing with the Herndon office of Capital Area Pediatrics in 2011.
Dr. Hong worked as an associate general pediatrician for NOVA Pediatrics, Ltd., in Springfield and Woodbridge, VA., for eight years prior to joining CAP.
Her pediatric residency was completed in 2003 at the University of Maryland in Baltimore, MD. She graduated from medical school at Upstate Medical University in Syracuse, N.Y., in 2000. Her undergraduate studies were completed in 1996 at Dartmouth College in Hanover, N.H.
Dr. Hong enjoys all aspects of pediatric care, but has special interest in childhood development and pediatric endocrinology.
