Dr. Ronald N. Shore is a top-ranked Board Certified dermatologist in Rockville, Maryland, providing both medical dermatology and cosmetic dermatology services for patients of all ages. At Ronald N. Shore Dermatology, Dr. Shore provides the most innovative dermatology and cosmetic treatments using a patient-centered, customized approach. He uses state-of-the-art technology and offers a comprehensive array of cosmetic treatment options, including SculpSure ®, BOTOX®, laser hair removal, laser tattoo removal, and microdermabrasion. Dr. Shore also provides customized, effective treatments for acute and chronic skin conditions and diseases like eczema, psoriasis, melanoma and other skin cancers and precancers.
After receiving his medical degree with Great Distinction from the University of Saskatchewan, Dr. Shore completed an internship and fellowship at Johns Hopkins Hospital, followed by a residency in dermatology at the University of Pennsylvania. In addition to caring for patients at Ronald N. Shore Dermatology, Dr. Shore has participated in the dermatology teaching program at Johns Hopkins and has been a frequent lecturer and presenter at national and international medical conferences. He has also led courses at American Academy of Dermatology Annual Meetings.
Dr. Shore is a recognized authority in the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of skin cancer and is a co-founder of the Paula Shore / Sari Fox Foundation, a nonprofit dedicated to educating the public on new technologies for the treatment and cure of cancer. Ronald N. Shore Dermatology has been providing skin cancer screening services for 27 years and has the distinction of having the longest-running skin cancer screening program to achieve 100% survival.
Dr. Shore enjoys caring for and educating new patients, and the practice accepts most major forms of medical insurance.
