Dr. Robert McCaslin graduated from University of South Carolina School of Medicine in 1983 before completing a residency in Pediatrics at Children's Hospital of Alabama, University of Alabama Birmingham in 1986. He then completed a fellowship in Pediatric Emergency Medicine at Children's National Medical Center in 1994.
