Dr. Richard Felker is board-certified in Diagnostic Radiology by the American Board of Radiology and is affiliated with Southern Regional Medical Center. He received his medical degree from the University of Tennessee College of Medicine.
Dr. Felker taught women’s imaging and breast imaging for 18 years as a member of the faculty at the University of Tennessee College of Medicine. He left academics in 2004 for private practice in the Atlanta area.
His professional specialties include Breast Mammography, Ultrasound, MRI, Biopsies, and Oncologic PET Imaging. His passions include delivering quality imaging services to doctors and patients, and interacting with patients and referring physicians. A priority for Dr. Felker is ensuring he is available to discuss results directly with his patients.
He is a member of the American College of Radiology, Georgia Radiologic Society, Roentgen Society of North America, American Roentgen Society, Society of Breast Imaging, and the Radiation Safety and Cancer Committees at Southern Regional.
