Dr. Parker is the Medical Director of both San Diego Sports Medicine’s Executive Health & Corporate Wellness, and the San Diego Firefighters Regional Wellness Program. He is also the director of our Sports Medicine Fellowship Training Program and is past president of the American Osteopathic Academy of Sports Medicine. He graduated from Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine in 1984 and completed his sports medicine fellowship at San Diego Sports Medicine & Family Health Center in 1987. Dr. Parker is board certified in family medicine with added qualifications in sports medicine. He was a swimmer at Springfield College and has served as a team physician for San Diego State University Athletics since 1985.
