FriendlyMy experience with Dr. Nelkin was NOT favorable. I purchased a package for Thermiva treatments. My last treatment was cancelled by the doctor's nurse, Cynthia, due to "a personal matter." However, the doctor was not available to reschedule my treatment within adequate time--4 to 8 weeks. With that said, I asked for a refund for the last treatment. It has been 3 months; I have not received my refund, nor a courtesy call. I get the 'run-around' from Cynthia--who continuously says that "the check is in the mail." I have not received any contact from the doctor nor any of her staff or associates. In addition to lack of customer service or professionalism, I, also, saw Dr. Nelkin for an over-active bladder. After the ultrasound, Dr. Nelkin concluded was that I had an over-active bladder. She prescribed me Myrbetriq, and sold me on the Thermiva treatment--to help my bladder. Weeks later, I got a 2nd opinion. An ultrasound with a different doctor, found that I had THREE LARGE fibroids that were pushing against my bladder. When I questioned Dr. Nelkin about her lack of findings, she insisted that she did not look further up during the ultrasound to see the fibroids.
