Bio


Rebecca Dunsmoor-Su, MD, MSCE is a board-certified OB/GYN who specializes in treating vaginal atrophy and other common gynecological conditions brought about by menopause and cancer treatment. She sees patients from across the Pacific Northwest at RENUvaGYN, a world-class vaginal rejuvenation center in Seattle. A native of southern California, Dr. Dunsmoor-Su attended high school in Belgium. She returned to the United States to earn her undergraduate degree from Bryn Mawr College in Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania. While there, she spent one year studying abroad at the University of Edinburgh in Scotland.   Dr. Dunsmoor-Su received her medical degree as well as a master’s degree in clinical epidemiology and biostatistics (MSCE) from the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine in Philadelphia. She went on to complete her residency in obstetrics and gynecology at the University of Pennsylvania Health System.   After finishing her residency, Dr. Dunsmoor-Su took a job as a faculty member in obstetrics and gynecology at the University of Washington in Seattle. There, she maintained a general OB/GYN practice and focused her academic time on teaching and directing the resident research program. In 2013, she accepted a position at Swedish Medical Center as an OB Hospitalist, providing support, expertise, and continuing education for family medicine practitioners, OB residents, and family medicine fellows.   Through her wide-ranging experience, Dr. Dunsmoor-Su realized that there was
