Cannot say enough good about Dr. Ravi. Three members of our family have been under his care and had surgery by him. Our son had Diverticulitis and it was highly possible several times during his many surgeries that we would lose him, his condition was an emergency and very serious. Dr. Ravi as plastic surgeon and another internist were amazing and so very caring and instrumental in saving our sons life. We will forever be grateful for Dr. Ravi's part in this and for the amazing bond we formed with him, he has become like a son to us. He is a wonderful, caring and capable surgeon. My husband had hand surgery done by him and is very happy with the results! I had what turned out to be a basal cell carcinoma removed from my nose by him. Very happy with the care, treatment and results of that surgery. We would, and have, recommended him to many of our friends. He is the best, a rock star in our families books. Our son required 11 surgeries and Dr. Ravi was involved with most everyone of them. So, yes, we got to know him extremely well and totally trust him. And as they say in Australia.. "Bob's your uncle", and that's a good thing!!!! Thank you again Dr. Ravi Somayazula, we love you and appreciate all you have done and continue to do for our family! You are the best in our books!

Dr. Ravi Somayazula is a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon who brings his expertise in the art of cosmetic surgery to Houston, Texas. His specific interest is in breast and body contouring procedures.
Dr. Ravi Somayazula is originally from New Jersey and received his medical degree from New York College in Long Island. He completed a rigorous Residency in General Surgery at the University of Massachusetts and went on to do a Plastic Surgery Fellowship in Boston at the prestigious Lahey Medical Center and Harvard University's Brigham and Women's Hospital.
Dr. Ravi’s pursued his interest in Plastic Surgery due to his strong desire to perform cutting edge surgery while incorporating beauty, function and art. He desires to place safety at the utmost importance for all this patients and understands his patients’ many concerns in today's world. He believes very strongly that true patient education begins in the office during the initial consultation. Dr. Ravi spends a significant amount of time with all his patients in order to better understand their goals, answer questions and demystify any concerns one may have. His patients leave feeling comfortable and confident with Dr. Ravi’s abilities.
