I grew up in Hong Kong and attended Medical school in Bristol, England. I trained in Pediatrics at the Birmingham Children's Hospital (UK), before moving to the Bay Area. I studied Epidemiology at Stanford University before my Pediatric residency at Georgetown University Hospital, Washington, DC.  Since returning to the Bay Area, I worked in various busy private practices, before focusing on Pediatric Urgent Care, when I joined South Bay Children’s Urgent Care. I worked in several high schools in South San Jose during this period, providing healthcare and counseling to the teenagers (and their children) in their school clinic. South Bay Urgent Care morphed into BayCare Pediatrics to include preventive pediatric care, which I did until 2016.  From 2005 to 2018, I have also been working at Stanford Children's Hospital - After-hours urgent care clinic.  I have also been seeing patients at Juvvadi Pediatrics - Packard Children's Healthcare Alliance.  My last position was with Heal.com - making house calls throughout the Bay Area to provide well child care and sick visits. 

I am committed to promoting preventive healthcare and strongly believe that early intervention before disease occurs is important to good health. This involves minimizing disease-promoting factors, optimizing healthy lifestyle behaviors, and nurturing wellness.  I will work with children and their parents to devise an individualized plan for continued good health. I enjoy working with children of all ages, from birth, until college-aged. Where there is sickness or chronic illness, we will work towards a return to wellness.  Some of my special pediatric interests include healthy nutrition and lifestyle promotion, asthma and allergy, adolescent medicine, neurological/mental health - always using my training in integrative and holistic medicine. I believe in working with, and educating the children, and empowering their parents, towards keeping everyone healthy!  I am double Board certified - in Pediatrics and Integrative Medicine, and a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics and the Academy of Integrative and Health & Medicine.  I am also trained in Clinical Homeopathy and Clinical Nutrition.  Now, after completing my Integrative Medicine training, and taking a much-needed break, I am looking forward to getting back to my true passion - Integrative Pediatric care.

I am married, with 2 sons. I enjoy watching them grow and they are my life teachers. I love living in the Bay Area with all the outdoor activities, music, art, and foods it has to offer.  I enjoy hiking/ walking, swimming, yoga and try to play tennis and ski when I can.  My favorite pastime is to read at the beach, watch the waves, and vacation with my husband and teenage sons. In addition to English,  I am also fluent in Conversational Cantonese and understand Tamil.
