Dr. Franks completed a residency in Family Medicine at University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey School of Osteopathic Medicine/Kennedy Health Sys. He then completed a fellowship in Primary Care Sports Medicine at University Hospital health System/Richmond Heights Hospital.
