Ralph E. Joseph, DO, FACOG, is a board-certified obstetrician and gynecologist, as well as a cosmetic surgeon, who has been in practice since 1991. At North Texas OB/GYN in Plano, Texas, Dr. Joseph offers complete gynecological and obstetric services to women from communities throughout the Dallas-Fort Worth metropolitan region.    

Dr. Joseph is a recognized colposcopy expert who specializes in endometrial ablations, tubal ligations, and LEEP, a surgical treatment that helps prevent cervical cancer. He’s also a leading expert in hormone replacement therapy, using advanced pellet implantation technology to help patients maintain consistent hormone levels, reduce menopause symptoms, and protect against osteoporosis.   

After obtaining his medical degree from the University of North Texas Health Science Center in Fort Worth, Texas, Dr. Joseph completed his internship at University of Texas Southwestern Medical School Family Practice in Wichita Falls, Texas, and his residency at Brooke Army Medical Center in Fort Sam Houston, Texas.

In addition to being a fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Dr. Joseph is also a fellow of the American Society for Colposcopy and Cervical Pathology, and a diplomate of the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology.

Dr. Joseph currently serves as volunteer faculty at University of Texas Southwestern Medical School for the OB/GYN residents in Dallas. He also has extensive experience in aesthetic medicine, having served as the medical director of Essence of Eve Day Medical Spa for six years.

The son of a US Air Force pilot, Dr. Joseph served in both the US Navy and US Army. He and his wife enjoy spending time with their three grandchildren, playing guitar, and serving on the worship team together at their synagogue.
