Dr. Raed Alnajjar graduated from University of Jordan Faculty of Medicine in 1997 before completing a residency in General Surgery at St. Joseph Mercy - Oakland in 2010. He then completed a fellowship in Thoracic Surgery at Baylor College in 2013.
Dr. Alnajjar has one office in Michigan where he specializes in Cardiothoracic Surgery, Thoracic Surgery and Vascular Surgery.

Cardiothoracic Surgery

Following rigorous and lengthy training, thoracic surgeons are uniquely qualified to perform complex surgeries on the chest, or thorax as it is sometimes called. Their focus is usually on the lungs, esophagus, and other areas of the chest, and may also include the heart. As such, Dr. Alnajjar may see patients in Michigan for a wide range of surgeries, for example removing cancer causing tumors from the esophagus and chest wall, or even a lung transplant.
