She discharged me for not following up with an endocrinologist appointment. I cancelled the appointment because I'm disabled and am reliant on my neighbor to drive me.....unfortunately my neighbor had a diabetic seizure the night before. Dr. Polish knows I have no car and will not be able to get another doctor (she works at an Aria walking distance from my house). It's all about her. As long as I'm discharged it doesn't matter if I can't get my prescription filled for Xanax and end up in the emergency room. Dr. Polish cares about Dr. Polish. She even laughed at me when I told her the pain medication she gave me for my dislocating jaw (tegretal) laid me out on the floor for an entire day. This is the kind of person she is. Now, only time will tell. I'm going to try to ween myself off of my prescription best as possible because she has left me with no other choice. I've been going to that Aria (it wasn't called Aria back then) since 1978 and think what she has done is a disgrace. I've only had her for a doctor for 6 months and am appalled by her actions.
