Dr. Laffitte is a native of Estill, SC. He completed his undergraduate work at Wofford College with a Bachelors in English. He then graduated from the Medical University of South Carolina in 1977 and following his Internship and Residency with the Greenville Hospital System he joined Piedmont OB/GYN in 1981. His special interests include general and high risk obstetrics, general gynecology, and preventive medicine. Dr. Laffitte and his wife Carol have 3 children (2 sons and 1 daughter) and one grandchild. Together they enjoy spending time with their children and babysitting their grandson.
