Dr. Parikh is an adult and pediatric allergist and immunologist serving patients in and around the Murray Hill area of New York, providing state-of-the-art care in a comfortable, relaxing environment. She offers a comprehensive array of diagnostic and treatment procedures to identify and manage immune system-related conditions, including food and drug allergies, asthma, chronic sinusitis and immune deficiency diseases.
Double-board certified by the American Board of Allergy and Immunology and the American Board of Internal Medicine, Dr. Parikh is dedicated to learning new techniques that can provide her patients with safer, more effective, individualized care so they can experience the best health possible at every age.
Dr. Parikh earned her bachelor's degree in political science from Emory University and her medical degree from St. George's University in Grenada, West Indies. She completed a residency at The Cleveland Clinic Foundation in Ohio, followed by a fellowship in pediatric and adult allergy and immunology at Montefiore Medical Center, the University Hospital for Albert Einstein College of Medicine in the Bronx, NY.
Dr. Parikh is widely published and has spoken at medical meetings on national and international levels. She is active in several major medical associations, including the American College of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology, the American Thoracic Society, the Federation of Clinical Immunology Societies, the World Association for Sarcoidosis and Other Granulomatous Disorders and the America College of Physicians, where she sits on the health and public policy committee.
She is a founder and board member of the young professionals' committee of the Share and Care Foundation, which raises funds for underprivileged children and women in India, and she acts as national spokesperson for the Allergy and Asthma Group, a non-profit patient advocacy group. In addition to her practice, Dr. Parikh is a clinical instructor of medicine and pediatrics at New York University School of Medicine.
