Dr. Peter Vitanzo graduated from Temple University School of Medicine before completing a residency in Family Medicine at Duke University Medical Center. He then completed a fellowship in Sports Medicine at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital.
Dr. Vitanzo has three offices in Pennsylvania and New Jersey where he specializes in Sports Medicine.
Dr. Vitanzo works with forty-nine doctors including Dr. Marc Harwood and Dr. James Krieg.
Sports medicine physicians are trained to provide treatment and prevention plans for those participating in sports and related physical activities. Dr. Vitanzo is trained to treat complications such as muscle tears and strains, concussions, tendon and ligament damage, shin splints, sports hernias, fractures, and a variety of others.
