Dr. Yang earned a Bachelor of Arts from Harvard University in Cambridge, Massachusetts, followed by an MD from the New York University School of Medicine in New York City. He subsequently completed a residency in general surgery at the Montefiore Medical Center/Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York City and a vascular fellowship at the Long Island Jewish Medical Center in New York. His academic appointments include the Department of Vascular Surgery at Beth Israel Medical Center in New York and the Albert Einstein College of Medicine, also in New York. Dr. Yang is board certified by the American Board of Surgery and the American Board of Vascular Surgery. He is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons, as well as a registered vascular technologist. He is an active member of the Society for Vascular Surgeons, the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers, the New York Society for Vascular Surgery, and the American Society of Angiology.
