Dr. Gresham is a Michigan native. He attended high school at the University of Detroit Jesuit High school and Academy. He then went on to Marquette University in Milwaukee, Wisconsin where he earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Biology through the Honors College. He completed Medical School at The University of Toledo College of Medicine prior to returning to Michigan where he completed his residency training in General Psychiatry through Henry Ford Health System and then a fellowship in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry through Wayne State University.
Dr. Gresham is board-certified in both General Psychiatry as well as Child & Adolescent Psychiatry through the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. He was previously at the Behavioral Medical Center of Troy prior to opening Michigan Mental Wellness. He has a variety of special interests including Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, genetics, evolutionary psychology and issues impacting the LGBT community. He is enthusiastic about teaching and will always go into detail about the nature of psychiatric illness and the impact of medication. Dr. Gresham tries to keep a welcoming, relaxed atmosphere for all ages.
In his spare time, Dr. Gresham enjoys several hobbies. He is an amateur chocolatier, creative writer, and an avid fan of martial arts and cinema. One thing Dr. Gresham emphasizes is that you should never leave with unanswered questions. You are the focus of care and have complete autonomy.
