Thoracic Surgery
Following rigorous and lengthy training, thoracic surgeons are uniquely qualified to perform complex surgeries on the chest, or thorax as it is sometimes called. Their focus is usually on the lungs, esophagus, and other areas of the chest, and may also include the heart. As such, Dr. Ravichandran may see patients in Oregon for a wide range of surgeries, for example removing cancer causing tumors from the esophagus and chest wall, or even a lung transplant.

Dr. Pasala Ravichandran is a cardiac surgeon dedicated to the surgical treatment of cardiovascular and heart ailments. These may include rheumatic, ischemic, endocarditis, atherosclerosis, and valvular, or congenital heart disease.
