Evaluating the patients and performing procedures in the office saves the patients and the healthcare system the high expenses of hospitals facility fees. This is especially relevant to the patients with high deductible insurances. This also relevant to the primary care doctors if their patients have HMO coverage. The reduction in costs does not affect quality as Dr. El Abd sticks to the highest level of management and he has lectured and published research on the prevention of complications of spinal procedures.
