Bio
Dr. Nathan was born in New Jersey and raised in Florida. His original inspiration for his endeavors was the work of his father, who served as a facial plastic surgeon in the U.S. military.
While attending the University of Miami, Dr. Nathan double majored in Biology and English Literature. Within three years, he earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree, with Honors. Subsequently, Dr. Nathan matriculated to the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine.
After medical school, Dr. Nathan obtained his surgical and specialty training in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. He trained at the internationally renowned University of California-San Francisco (UCSF), ranked a top 10 hospital in the country by U.S. News and World Report. After his residency, he pursued fellowship training in craniofacial surgery. In addition to treating children with various acquired and congenital deformities, Dr. Nathan received specialized training in adult facial cosmetic surgery
Dr. Nathan is a Board Certified plastic surgeon and the author of numerous peer-reviewed publications on the subjects of aesthetic and facial surgery. He has spoken at both national and international meetings. His offices are in Miami and Miramar.

Plastic Surgery

Dr. Nathan is able to correct abnormalities of the body that may be causing adverse health effects, or perform surgeries to correct malformations caused by birth defects, trauma, tumors or disease. He also performs elective surgeries, which patients undergo to improve the aesthetic appearance of a certain body part.

Specializing in the field of cosmetic surgery, Dr. Nathan performs surgical and non-surgical procedures to improve or restore the aesthetics of a specific feature of body part. Cosmetic surgery may include rhinoplasty (or "nose jobs"), chin reshaping, face or necklifts, lipsuction or tummy tucks. A mainstay of cosmetic surgery, breast procedures such as breast augmentation, reduction, or lifts are among the most popular procedures performed by cosmetic surgeons.
