Recommends On Time Friendly Professional Knowledgeable Understandable Helpful StaffI had third nerve right eye palsy and saw several other MDs. Dr. Weiner asked me to obtain my MRI full head images from Kennestone hospital and could not find stroke, aneurysm, or tumor (as also not found by Kennestone staff and another neurologist). Being thorough she ordered a blood test for myasthenia which she will review next appointment. If it is nerve impairment she does not offer an effective treatment, other than passage of time, but there is no treatment under current science. Myasthenia affects a chemical that interfaces between nerves and the muscles they control. It is treatable. Also rare.
