Miljan Stankovic, MD, PhD, FACOG, provides the full range of obstetric and gynecologic care at Rosh Maternal & Fetal Medicine in the Midtown East area of New York City. He’s especially interested in urogynecology and uses his experience in pelvic floor disorders, urinary incontinence, and urinary systems disorders during pregnancy to effectively treat women facings these distressing issues. Dr. Stankovic received his medical degree from the University of Belgrade Medical School in Serbia, then finished internships in general medicine and OB/GYN, followed by an OB/GYN residency at the University of Belgrade Medical School Hospitals. After relocating to Boston, Dr. Stankovic completed an internship in OB/GYN at Boston University Medical Center, then went on to do an OB/GYN internship and residency at The Brooklyn Hospital Center, Weill Medical College of Cornell University. During his residency, he was honored to serve as Chief Resident. Dr. Stankovic is a Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists. Dr. Stankovic has published numerous books, research abstracts and original papers. He also presents papers at professional organizations and medical schools across the country. Prior to joining Rosh Maternal & Fetal Medicine, Dr. Stankovic was the attending OB/GYN at hospitals in Indiana and a Clinical Assistant Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Indiana University School of Medicine in Indianapolis.
