Dr. Mihaela Cristea graduated from Grigore T. Popa University of Medicine and Pharmacy in 1992 before completing a residency in Internal Medicine at Monmouth Medical Center in Long Branch, NJ from 1995 to 1998. She then completed a fellowship in Medical Oncology at University of Florida - Health Science Center from 1998 to 2000.
Dr. Cristea has one office in California where she specializes in Oncology and Gynecologic Oncology.

As a gynecologic oncologist in California, Dr. Cristea is trained to diagnose, treat and manage cancers of the reproductive system in women. This can include preventive care, diagnostic services to determine the type and stage of cancer, the creation of a customized treatment plan, and surgical operations to remove the cancerous areas, when determined to be medically necessary.
