About Dr. Ellern
Dr. Ellern

Bio

Dr. Michelle Ellern’s skillful hands, artful techniques, and warm and caring personality make her a wonderful cosmetic physician. Her nurturing style of care draws patients to her, and immediately sets them at ease; but it’s the natural, artistic results they experience that keep patients returning to her care. “Since before entering medical school, I have had a desire to pursue a career in aesthetic medicine. Even as a young woman I realized aesthetics go much beyond the impact on physical appearance, they can and do have an impact on self-esteem and confidence. Being able to affect the way someone feels about themselves, and in turn give them the opportunity to live their life without feeling that they have to hide, is a large part of the reason I choose this as my specialty,” says Ellern, “My ultimate goal is to provide people with as many options and opportunities as I can to better themselves, most importantly with their self-esteem.” Dr. Ellern graduated from Rutgers University, where she was the President of the American Medical Student Association, Rutgers Chapter. She went on to complete her degree in medicine at the University Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey, Stratford campus, where she served as Chief Intern and as a member of the admission committee for the medical school. Her residency took place at UMDNJ as well. She is board certified in internal medicine by the American College of Osteopathic Internists (Internal Medicine) and is a member of the America
