Michael Shelton, MD, is a top-rated physician specializing in family medicine, occupational medicine and urgent care. Dr. Shelton is the owner of First Physicians in Odessa, Texas and sees patients in the Wendover office of First Physicians as the Wendover Medical Director. He’s an “Aggie” having earned his undergraduate degree, a bachelor of science, at Texas A&M University in College Station, Texas. Dr. Shelton went on to attend the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, Texas, and earned his doctor of medicine degree there. His medical internship was at the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta, Georgia. Dr. Shelton then moved on to the University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa, Alabama for his residency in family practice medicine.  

Dr. Shelton has a passion for providing high-quality, personalized care for his patients. In his spare time, his interests are also focused on the practice of medicine. He’s an active member of the Texas Medical Association and the Ector County Medical Society.
