Dr. Michael Starrels graduated from Jefferson Medical College of Thomas Jefferson University in 1971 before completing a residency in Ophthalmology at Barnes Hospital / Washington University in Saint Louis, MO from 1972 to 1975. He then completed a fellowship in Glaucoma at Wills Eye Hospital from 1976 to 1977.
