I provide comprehensive pain management with a focus on interventional treatments. My goal is to identify the cause of my patients' pain syndrome and improve their pain without high doses of pain medications.

Interventional Pain Management
As an interventional pain management specialist in Georgia, Dr. Schaufele focuses on relieving chronic pain in patients. Interventional pain specialists offer pain relief by blocking or interrupting the transmission of neurological pain signals in the brain. Dr. Schaufele may perform treatments such as spinal cord and nerve stimulation, nerve or medial branch blocks, medication management, or the implantation of drug delivery systems.

Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation
Physical medicine & rehabilitation specialists, or physiatrists, are doctors who specialize in helping patients rehabilitate from injuries or complications of disease.
