Dr. Michael Sheffield graduated from University of New Mexico School of Medicine before completing a residency in Internal Medicine at University of California Irvine, Long Beach VA Medical Center in Long Beach, CA from 1988 to 1991. He then completed a fellowship in Gastroenterology at University of New Mexico from 1991 to 1993.
