Melissa K. Bailey, MD is a leading OBGYN serving the communities in and around Frisco, Texas at Centennial OBGYN. Dr. Bailey is passionate about providing effective and compassionate care for her patients with services including obstetrics and care for high-risk pregnancies, prenatal care, family planning, infertility treatments, and robotic minimally invasive surgeries to treat conditions including uterine fibroids, polycystic ovary syndrome, and pelvic pain. Dr. Bailey completed her undergraduate degree at the University of Texas at Austin. She went on to earn her medical degree at the University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston, where she met her best friend and colleague, Leslie Welborne. During medical school, Dr. Bailey completed extensive research on the long-term effects and developmental delays of low birth weight and premature delivery, confirming her desire to specialize in obstetrics and gynecology. Dr. Bailey served her obstetrics and gynecology residency at the Georgia Baptist Medical Center in Atlanta, before returning to the North Dallas area to set up practice with Dr. Welborne.
