Psychiatrists are primary care doctors for mental health. Dr. Gomes concentrates on treating the overall psychological well-being in patients, capable of detecting and managing the various forms of mental illness. These may include things like depression, eating disorders, bipolar disorder or anxiety disorders, for example.
