Mark Haberman, MD is board certified in Pediatrics and Internal Medicine. He received his medical degree from the Robert Wood Johnson Medical School in Camden, New Jersey in 1991. He completed his combined Internal Medicine and Pediatrics residencies at Baystate Medical Center in Springfield, Massachusetts in 1995.
Dr. Haberman joined Graybill Medical Group in 1998 and has office hours in both the Pediatrics and Internal Medicine Departments. He enjoys treating both infants and adults and all ages in between.
Specializing in the treatment of diabetes, Dr. Haberman cares for patients suffering from all types and stages of the disease such as types I and II, or gestational diabetes. Diabetologists work closely with diabetic patients to formulate a personalized, comprehensive plan that includes a diabetes-friendly diet and exercise regimen, in addition to any prescription medications or treatment procedures that are deemed necessary.
The specialty of internal medicine is an area of primary care for adults. Dr. Haberman specializes in diagnosing and treating cross-system illnesses that may affect multiple organ systems. He may also refer patients to specialist physicians when medically needed. For instance, patients with serious heart problems could be referred to a cardiologist for further diagnostic tests or therapies.
