Dr. Guirao received her medical degree from the University of the Philippines and completed her residency in Internal Medicine at Primary Care track at Jacobi Medical Center, and a fellowship in Geriatrics at Montefiore Medical Center, both under the Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York City. She is certified by the Board of Internal Medicine and Geriatrics. Her special interests include chronic disease management (such as diabetes, hypertension, cholesterol, obesity and COPD), preventative care, women?s health and geriatric syndromes.
