Dr. Louis Almekinders graduated from Erasmus University Rotterdam in 1982 before completing a residency in Orthopedic Surgery at UNC Hospitals in 1989. He then completed a fellowship in Orthopaedics (Research) at Duke University Medical Center in 1983.
Dr. Almekinders has one office in North Carolina where he specializes in Sports Medicine and Orthopedic Surgery.
