Lisa Lindvall Aquino, MD, has a lifelong love of learning and has pursued numerous opportunities to expand her skills and knowledge. She brings a unique approach to Coastal Family Dermatology and a focus on diagnosing and treating skin cancer. Dr. Aquino’s educational journey began at Vassar College in Poughkeepsie, New York, where she graduated with honors. She went on to earn a master’s degree in epidemiology from the Harvard School of Public Health in Boston, Massachusetts and put her degree to work in the field of public health. Dr. Aquino earned her medical degree from the University of California, Irvine. She then completed a dermatology residency at Kaiser Permanente Los Angeles Medical Center. In her role at Coastal Family Dermatology, Dr. Aquino focuses on providing comprehensive skin cancer screenings and surgical treatment of skin cancer. She is passionate about educating people on the importance of preventing skin cancer and the need to have regular skin screenings to improve the chances of early detection. When not at work, Dr. Aquino can be found spending time with her husband, who is also a physician, and their two children. She enjoys a range of outdoor activities and strives to maintain a close connection with friends.
